The January 28 & 29th performances of Lost in the Stars, presented by Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra (and CAP UCLA) as the culmination of LACO’s Lift Every Voice series, will go down as one of the memorable highlights of my theatregoing in LA. Even now, a week later, the powerful images stir emotions and serve as a reminder of the sensitivity of the artists’ work, their incredible musicianship, and their ability to communicate the message of Kurt Weill’s deeply moving piece with passion and sincerity. www.laco.org
